AI tools move fast.
Here’s what to build with them this week.
We help you decide what to build: each week, one project of the week (starter prompt + checklist) and a free level × interest × time generator. Tool news is translated into decisions — we are not another changelog digest.
What you get every week
1. The digest
Tool news translated into three lines each:
- What changed
- The update, in one sentence.
- What breaks
- Which workflows or projects it may affect.
- What to do
- The concrete next step.
2. Project of the week
One well-scoped build idea that uses the news, with a copy-paste starter prompt and a checklist so you ship instead of scroll.
3. Games & tech corner
Short, practical notes for people who build things and play games: workflows, habits and small experiments worth your evening.
Build a Changelog Translator
Paste any tool's release notes, get back what changed, what might break, what to do — as validated JSON rendered into cards. It is the exact format this newsletter uses, and a great first project for working with structured LLM output.
Dev toolsIntermediateWeekend
Build a web tool: the user pastes release notes and optionally lists their stack. Return strict JSON: what_changed[], what_might_break[], what_to_do[], confidence. Never claim facts that are not in the pasted text.

Gamers who ship
You love games and want to make small ones, mods, tools or companions — without reading ten changelogs first.

What is VibeKit Weekly?
VibeKit Weekly is a free weekly email and website focused on what to build: each issue includes one project of the week with a starter prompt and checklist, and a free browser project generator that picks by skill level, interest and available time. We also translate AI and vibe-coding tool news into 'what changed, what breaks, what to do'. We are not another changelog digest.
What is vibe coding?
Vibe coding is a way of building software by describing what you want in natural language and letting an AI coding assistant write most of the code, while you test, steer and review the result. It is fast for prototypes, but the output still needs human review for correctness and security.
Is VibeKit Weekly free?
Yes. The weekly project, the basic digest and the project generator are free. Paid tiers with personalized alerts for the tools you use and unlimited projects at your level are planned but not yet available.
How often will I get an email?
Once a week. There are no daily emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
What does 'what changed, what breaks, what to do' mean?
It is the format of each digest item: what changed in a tool or platform, which of your existing workflows or projects it could break, and the concrete next step to take. It turns release notes into decisions.
What is the project of the week?
Each issue suggests one well-scoped project you can build with the week's news, with a ready-to-paste starter prompt and a checklist. You can also use the free project generator to pick a project by skill level, interest and available time.
How does the project generator work?
You choose a skill level (beginner, intermediate or advanced), an interest (AI agents, games, web tools, automation or dev tools) and the time you have (one evening, a weekend or one week). It runs entirely in your browser and picks a project from a curated library with a starter prompt and checklist. Nothing you select is sent to a server.
Can I trust the tool claims in the newsletter?
Claims about specific tools are labelled as general guidance unless an issue cites a source link. Tools change quickly, so verify details such as pricing, versions and limits against the official documentation before relying on them.
Can I sponsor the newsletter?
Sponsorship slots are planned. Use the sponsor section on the home page to get in touch. Sponsored content will be clearly labelled and will not change editorial coverage.
What happens to my email address?
Your address is used only to send the newsletter. It is stored by the newsletter provider the site owner configures. See the privacy page for details.
Reach people who build with AI
VibeKit Weekly readers are developers, makers and gamers who try new AI tools every week. Sponsorship slots are planned for developer tools, AI products, learning platforms and indie games. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled and never changes what we cover.
